This Privacy Policy explains how Fashion Zone (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information you provide when you visit or buy from our website. We follow the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and apply the principles of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, and password (stored as a one-way hash) when you create an account.
  • Order information: shipping address, phone number, items ordered, payment status. Card and UPI details are handled entirely by Razorpay and never touch our servers.
  • Communications: any messages you send via email, WhatsApp, or our contact form.
  • Usage data: standard server logs (IP address, user-agent, page accessed) and any analytics we may add later.

How we use it

  • To process and ship your orders, and contact you about them.
  • To send order confirmations and (if subscribed) marketing emails.
  • To prevent fraud and maintain the security of the site.
  • To comply with tax and accounting obligations.

Sharing

We share data only with the service providers required to operate the store:

  • Razorpay for processing payments.
  • Resend for transactional and marketing email.
  • Neon and Vercel for hosting our database and website.
  • Shipping partners (e.g., Delhivery, Bluedart, India Post) for order delivery.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a local storage entry to remember your cart. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data. Email privacy@fashionzone.example and we'll respond within 30 days.

Data retention

Order records are retained for 8 years to satisfy Indian tax law (Income Tax Act, Section 44AA / GST). Account data outside of that is deleted on request.
